Case Files
Case Files
In this section, we will attempt to post as much as we can about legal cases – public access files, American laws, and more obscure files and trials that may or may not establish precedence. Despite the name of this website, we will not be limiting the case files and documents in this sections to civil issues that result in lawsuits; we will be posting criminal cases as well, for the benefit of parties who are interested in learning more about the criminal justice system and how it is to be approached.
Keep in mind, however, that there is a limit to the space that we can give to these cases, and as such, only the general laws that are used as cause for trial will be left up here. The case studies that may establish precedence could be replaced every week or every two weeks, and we advise everyone to download the case files that you find notable before they are deleted. The purpose of this section is not simply reference, but also education. The more we know about how certain laws and rights are executed in court, the better our understanding of democracy will be. And we will be better lawyers for it.
